UV-234 is an excellent light stabilizer.
Application
234 is a hydroxybenzotriazole UV absorber that converts ultraviolet radiation into heat through photochemical action.
234 is highly effective for polymers requiring high-temperature processing without UV absorption loss, such as polycarbonate, polyester, polyacetal, polyamide, polyphenylene sulfide, polyphenylene oxide, aromatic copolymers, thermoplastic polyimide esters, polyimide fiber, as well as polyvinyl chloride, styrene monomers, and copolymers. It can be applied to molds, films, sheets, and fibers.
Feature Effect 234 exhibits low volatility, strong light absorption, and excellent compatibility with base materials. These properties make it particularly suitable for large-surface objects like films and fibers. 234 protects polymers and pigments from UV radiation, enhancing and preserving their performance and appearance.
234 is also suitable for high-temperature resistant powder coatings, coil coatings, and similar applications. It shields materials from UV radiation effects. In outdoor products, it can be used in combination with phenolic antioxidants and phosphite antioxidants.
