Application Fields | Specific Applications | Effect Description |
Architectural Decoration Industry | Surface protection for unpolished stone slabs (e.g., cultural stone, sandstone); protection for rough-finished wood panels (e.g., pressure-treated wood, natural wood boards); protection for textured metal panels (e.g., embossed steel sheets, antique copper plates) | Prevents scratches, abrasions, and contamination on panel surfaces during construction, preserving the material's original texture and enhancing the natural style and unique charm of architectural decoration. |
Furniture Manufacturing Industry | Protection for textured wood furniture panels (e.g., solid wood natural veneers); protection for industrial-style metal furniture panels | Protect raw materials and semi-finished products during furniture production, minimize surface damage, and maintain the rustic, unrefined design style and quality of furniture |
Landscape Architecture Industry | Protection for outdoor stone landscape panels (e.g., landscape stones, bench seat surfaces) and pressure-treated wood decking boards | Resist erosion from harsh outdoor environments, prevent weathering, fading, and stain adhesion on panels, and extend the service life of landscape facilities |
Crafts Processing Industry | Surface protection for hand-carved stone crafts and wooden crafts | Safeguard crafts from damage during processing, transportation, and display, preserving intricate details and artistic effects |
Product Features:
High-viscosity emulsion, high initial tack, low peel strength, subject to yellowing.
V. Application Method:
Substrate Preparation: Ensure rough panel surfaces are clean and free of oil, dust, loose particles, and other contaminants. For stubborn stains, use a wire brush with a specialized cleaner, then rinse thoroughly with water and allow to dry completely.
Emulsion Preparation: Adjust emulsion viscosity as needed using deionized water. Recommended dilution ratio: ≤5%. Stir thoroughly until uniform. For color matching, add appropriate amount of water-based color paste and mix until consistent.
Application Methods:
Brush Application: Using a stiff-bristle brush, firmly press and apply the emulsion onto the panel surface. Ensure thorough penetration and filling of pores, especially in depressions and deep textures. Apply 2-3 coats, allowing 2-3 hours between each coat.
Roller Application: Use a short-nap roller to apply evenly along the grain direction of the panel. Ensure thorough coverage by rolling repeatedly. Apply 2-3 coats, allowing 2-3 hours between coats.
Spray Application: Use a high-pressure airless sprayer, adjusting to appropriate pressure (15–20 MPa). Maintain a 20–30 cm distance between the spray gun and panel surface. Apply 2–3 coats at a uniform speed, allowing 2–3 hours between coats. Ensure even coating distribution, with dry film thickness controlled at 10–15 μm.
Drying Conditions: After coating with emulsion, panels may dry naturally at room temperature or enter drying equipment. Set drying temperature to 45–65°C (113–147°F) for 6–10 hours to ensure complete emulsion drying and film formation.
Environmental Requirements: Construction temperature ≥8°C (46°F), relative humidity ≤85%. Avoid application during rainy, windy, or high-temperature conditions with direct strong sunlight. During winter construction, employ heating measures such as erecting heated shelters or using heaters to maintain the required ambient temperature.
Film Removal Recommendation: Remove the protective film at an appropriate time based on actual usage. When peeling, start slowly from the edges of the panel to prevent residue or surface damage caused by tearing.
