Product Features:
High-viscosity emulsion, excellent water resistance, high peel strength, and superior curling effect.
V. Application Method:
Substrate Preparation: Ensure the sanded profile surface is clean, dry, and free of oil, dust, water stains, or other contaminants. For minor rust or stains, wipe clean with a soft cloth and specialized cleaner.
Emulsion Preparation:
Add appropriate color paste to achieve desired protective film hue. To adjust viscosity, dilute with deionized water (recommended ratio ≤8%; ensure thorough mixing).
Application Methods:
Spray Application: Using an air compressor or airless sprayer, maintain a 15–25 cm distance between the spray gun and the profile surface. Adjust air pressure to 0.3–0.5 MPa. Apply 2–3 coats using a uniform, crisscross motion, allowing 1–2 hours between coats (adjust based on ambient temperature and humidity). Ensure even coating distribution and consistent thickness (recommended dry film thickness: 8–12 μm). Brush/Roller Application:
Use a high-quality brush or roller to apply evenly along the grain of the profile surface, avoiding back-and-forth strokes. For edges, corners, and grooves, pre-coat to ensure no missed areas. Apply 2–3 coats to achieve the desired coating effect.
Drying Conditions: After applying the emulsion, profiles may dry naturally at room temperature or enter drying equipment. Set drying temperature to 40–60°C (86–140°F) for 4–8 hours to ensure complete emulsion drying and film formation.
Environmental Requirements: Apply at temperatures ≥3°C (37°F) and relative humidity ≤85%. Avoid application during rainy, windy, or high-temperature conditions with direct strong sunlight. For winter application, conduct work during midday when temperatures are higher and implement appropriate heating measures.
Film Removal Recommendations:
Remove the protective film at an appropriate time based on actual usage requirements. When peeling, start slowly from the edges of the profile to avoid tearing, which may cause film residue or damage to the profile surface.
