Application and How to use
1.Product application
Suitable for exterior walls of various buildings, natural stone paint topcoat, roofs, and various building materials, this ultra-durable decorative protective coating can significantly extend the service life of buildings.
2.How to use
Coating formulation recommendations: In fluorocarbon coating formulations, the recommended usage of this high-performance fluorocarbon emulsion is 40%–60% (subject to adjustment based on specific performance requirements, cost budgets, and other factors). When combined with weather-resistant pigments (such as ceramic pigments, metal oxide pigments), fillers (such as barium sulphate, kaolin), and auxiliary agents such as dispersants, levelling agents, and defoamers, high-performance fluorocarbon coatings can be formulated.
Substrate Preparation:
Metal substrates: Thoroughly remove surface oil, rust, and oxide scale. Use sandblasting or shot blasting to achieve a surface roughness of Sa2.5 grade (GB/T 8923.1 - 2011), and apply a配套 fluorocarbon primer for sealing.
Concrete substrates: Ensure the surface is flat, dry (moisture content <8%), clean, free of dust, grease, and loose particles. Fill holes and cracks with putty to achieve a smooth surface, then apply a配套 fluorocarbon sealing primer.
Application method:
Spray application: Use an air compressor or airless sprayer. Maintain a distance of 20–30 cm between the spray gun and the surface to be coated. Adjust the air pressure to 0.4–0.6 MPa. Apply 2–3 coats with even, cross-hatch spraying, allowing 2–4 hours between coats (adjust based on ambient temperature and humidity). Ensure the coating is uniform and consistent in thickness (recommended dry film thickness: 30–50 μm).
Brush/roller application: Use a high-quality brush or roller to apply the coating evenly in the same direction, avoiding back-and-forth brushing; edges, corners, and other areas can be pre-coated to ensure no missed areas, and apply 2–3 coats to achieve the desired coating effect.
Environmental requirements: Construction temperature ≥5°C, relative humidity ≤85%; avoid construction during rainy days, windy days, or under direct high-temperature sunlight; During winter construction, it is recommended to perform work during midday when temperatures are higher and to implement appropriate heating measures.
Coating System: To achieve optimal protective and decorative effects, it is recommended to use a coating system comprising ‘fluorocarbon primer + fluorocarbon intermediate coat + fluorocarbon topcoat.’ Each coat must be applied with appropriate intervals to ensure full drying and curing.
