Product Applications:
KRATON D-1155JOP is used for polymer modification (e.g., PS, PPO), adhesives, sealing compounds, laminating adhesives, hot melt adhesives, inks, color masterbatches, as well as in footwear manufacturing and injection molding applications. Currently, SBS is primarily utilized in four major fields: rubber products, resin modifiers, adhesives, and asphalt modifiers.
1. SBS molded products are primarily used in the footwear (soles) industry.
2. Extruded products are mainly used for hoses and tapes.
3. As a resin modifier, small amounts of SBS blended with polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), or polystyrene (PS) significantly improve the low-temperature performance and impact strength of the products.
4. As an adhesive, SBS features high solids content, fast drying, and low-temperature resistance.
5. As a modifier for construction and road asphalt, SBS markedly improves asphalt's weather resistance and load-bearing performance.
