Product Application:
BENGEL® 828 is suitable for medium to high polarity coating systems. It delivers ideal performance in coating systems based on polyester and epoxy resins, using solvents such as propylene glycol methyl ether acetate, n-butanol, methyl ethyl ketone, xylene, and aromatic petroleum solvents.
BENGEL®828 offers excellent sag resistance and anti-settling properties. In coating systems demanding high anti-settling performance, such as zinc-rich primers, BENGEL®828 synergistically enhances the efficacy of M-P-A® anti-settling agents.
IV. Product Characteristics:
① Easy to incorporate.
② Superior manufacturing flexibility and high efficiency.
③ No pre-gelation required.
④ No polar activators required.
⑤ Provides excellent sag resistance and pigment suspension.
⑥ Maintains consistent effective rheology across batches.
⑦ Cost-effective.
V. Usage Instructions:
1. BENGEL®828 is a super-dispersant that enhances adaptability and flexibility during coating manufacturing. Due to its ease of dispersion, on-site addition is strongly recommended. It may also be added at any stage of preparation, even under non-optimal dispersion conditions, without requiring polar catalysts.
2. Preparing a BENGEL®828 pregel is typically unnecessary. If required—perhaps due to equipment limitations—pregeling may be employed. Compared to conventional organic thickeners, this technique significantly improves coating performance under suboptimal addition conditions.
3. Standard coating manufacturing equipment provides sufficient shear force for effective dispersion of BENGEL®828.
VI. Dosage:
1. Typical dosage is 0.2-2.0% by weight of the system.
2. Optimal dosage primarily depends on the system's designed performance requirements for anti-sagging and thickening.
3. Combination with M-P-A® should accommodate a wide range of rheological requirements. Effective addition techniques and equipment also influence the stabilization of the appropriate dosage.
VII. Storage Conditions:
Net Weight: 25 kg/bag
Store away from heat and fire sources in a cool, well-ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed.
