Phenolic Resin 7522 is a thermosetting butylphenol formaldehyde resin, mainly used for rubber materials such as neoprene, suitable for press-fit adhesive formulation systems. This resin is not too tacky for this type of adhesive, but has a high hold-up and good durability. In a neoprene-based adhesive system, phenolic 7522 resin exhibits good bond strength at both room temperature and elevated temperature.
