Product Characteristics:
Star-shaped block copolymer
High strength and high viscosity
High tensile strength
High resilience
IV. Product Applications:
Plastic modification, asphalt modification, adhesives, compounding applications.
Currently, SBS is primarily used in four major fields: rubber products, resin modifiers, adhesives, and asphalt modifiers.
In rubber goods, SBS molded products are primarily used in footwear manufacturing (soles), while extruded products are mainly applied in hoses and belts. As a resin modifier, small amounts of SBS blended with polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), or polystyrene (PS) significantly enhance products' low-temperature performance and impact strength. As an adhesive, SBS offers high solids content, fast drying, and low-temperature resistance.
As a modifier for construction and road asphalt, SBS markedly enhances the asphalt's weather resistance and load-bearing capacity. The full range of SBS/SIS/ISEBS products is used in asphalt modification, footwear materials, TPE compound production, engineering plastic modification, and thermosensitive adhesives. Common grades: SBS dry rubber: 3411, 3414, 3501, 3520, 3527, 3533, 3537, 3540, 3546, 3566; SBS Oil-Dispersed: 1475, 1440, 1477, 1484, 1485, 1487, 1501, 1533, 1546; SlS: 5516, 5525, 5526.
