I. Product Overview:
This protective film emulsion is specifically developed for PE (polyethylene) protective film production. Through a specialized formulation and process, it significantly enhances the overall performance of PE films, meeting high-quality demands for protective films across packaging, electronics, construction materials, and other industries.
II. Product Specifications:
Appearance: Milky white uniform liquid
Solid Content: 39±1
Viscosity (mPas): 20-150
pH: 7.5-8.5
Product Features:
High transparency, no solvent volatilization, excellent composite strength, and minimal delamination.
V. Application Method:
Emulsion Dilution: Depending on specific coating processes and desired film thickness, deionized water may be used to dilute the emulsion. The recommended dilution ratio should not exceed 10% (thorough mixing required).
Coating Process:
Roller Coating: Apply the emulsion evenly onto the PE film surface using a coating roller. Maintain a roller speed of 10–30 m/min to ensure uniform coating thickness. Recommended dry film thickness: 5–15 μm.
Coating: Apply the emulsion evenly onto the moving PE film using a coating machine. Adjust the distance between the coating head and the PE film, along with the emulsion flow rate, to control the coating thickness. Similarly, a recommended dry film thickness of 5–15μm is advised.
Drying Conditions: After coating, the PE film enters the drying equipment. Set the drying temperature to 60–80°C with a drying time of 5–10 minutes to ensure complete drying and film formation of the emulsion.
Laminating Process: Apply the coated and dried PE protective film to the surface of the protected object using either cold or hot lamination. Apply pressure at 0.1–0.3 MPa to ensure tight adhesion.
Environmental Requirements:
Operate within ambient temperatures of 5–35°C (41–95°F) and relative humidity ≤80%. Avoid production in humid or dusty environments to prevent contaminants from compromising film quality.
