Polymerized Rosin 115 is a high-grade industrial resin dominated by rosin dimers. It appears as a yellowish-brown amorphous solid featuring a high softening point ranging from 110 °C to 120 °C, along with favorable properties including light color, high viscosity, anti-crystallization capability and superior oxidation resistance. Soluble in various organic solvents such as toluene and gasoline, it also boasts excellent compatibility and durability.
In industrial applications, its modified derivatives serve as key raw materials for offset printing inks, coatings and adhesives. When applied to inks, it delivers fast setting performance and high gloss; incorporated into paints, it improves the hardness and luster of paint films; blended into adhesives, it strengthens bonding strength and optimizes thermal sensitivity.
