Application
Cleartack® W Series is designed for rubber-based and EVA-based hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesives, significantly improving viscosity, cohesion, and temperature resistance. Recommended applications include woodworking edge banding, sanitary rubber adhesive, bookbinding, and carpet anti-slip adhesive. In PUR systems, adding W resin enhances initial adhesion to substrates. During PVC processing, Cleartack® W Series effectively increases PVC plasticization while improving impact strength and temperature resistance.
Adding Cleartack® W Series to thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) enhances TPE tensile strength, melt index, elongation, and other properties. The Cleartack® W series serves as an excellent additive for expanded polystyrene (EPS), improving foam uniformity and self-adhesion while enhancing physical and mechanical properties.
Used in EVA, SIS, SBS, APAO, and m-POE hot melt adhesives to increase strength and heat resistance modification; as a processing flow aid for PVC/TPU/TPE; and to enhance solvent bonding strength for CR, NR, and SBC.
1. Adhesives: In TPE-based hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesives, serves as a tackifier to enhance adhesion strength, heat resistance, and flow properties.
2. Rubber products (TPE: SEBS, SBS, TPU, natural rubber, synthetic rubber): Increases injection/extrusion speeds, improves surface tackiness, while enhancing hardness and crack resistance.
3. PVC pipes, floor tiles, toys, curtains: Serves as a processing aid to increase extrusion and injection speeds while maintaining final properties. Allows higher filler content (40%+) without compromising processability or strength.
4. Rubber cables (NEOPRENE, BUTYL, TPE): Incorporated into coating compounds to boost extrusion speed.
