EVA Resin Emulsion 1500 is a ternary copolymer emulsion based on ethylene-maleic anhydride-vinyl acetate with a low glass transition temperature. Primarily used as a base resin or modifying resin in water-based adhesive formulations, it is a high-solids emulsion with excellent performance for high-temperature resistance, self-crosslinking, and strong pressure-sensitive adhesives. Free of plasticizers, it exhibits strong dry and wet bond strengths.
EVA Resin Emulsion 1500 exhibits outstanding adhesion to metals and plastics (e.g., ABS, OPP, PVC, PC, PET, PMMA). It is non-corrosive to metal substrates, inks, and other materials, and demonstrates excellent system compatibility with various emulsion systems.
EVA Resin Emulsion 1500's polymer structure and unique self-crosslinking system yield a film with strong resistance to plasticizers. The presence of highly polar groups ensures excellent adhesion to substrates. It remains flexible at low temperatures without brittleness and exhibits high cohesive strength at elevated temperatures with minimal creep. EVA Resin Emulsion 1500 provides superior sealing properties and is suitable for bonding metals and non-metals.
EVA Resin Emulsion 1500 exhibits excellent adhesion to porous fibrous substrates like wood and paper, along with extended open time. Due to its active functional groups, it can also be formulated into a two-component system when combined with Motian Chemical's hydrophilic polyisocyanate curing agent WAT-4. The entire polymerization system of EVA Resin Emulsion 1500 employs nonionic surfactants combined with water-soluble oligomers as surfactant components. Its strong steric hindrance ensures excellent storage stability and compatibility with other polymer emulsion systems, facilitating versatile applications across diverse formulation systems.

For instance, in the water-based box-gluing adhesive sector, it can be formulated to create a series of substrate bonding products—such as paper-to-plastic, paper-to-varnish, varnish-to-film, and varnish-to-PE laminate bonds. It accommodates various application processes including spraying, roller coating, brushing, and dispensing.
In premium gift box packaging, EVA Resin Emulsion 1500 offers extended open time and excellent handling adaptability. It provides precise positioning, strong initial tack, and resistance to bubbling at high temperatures, creasing, or edge lifting.
