Enhance fluidity, control charge (positive surface charge) in triboelectric applications, universal.
Application
Degussa Alumina C exhibits the properties of pyrolytic metal oxides. Highly dispersible, gas-phase alumina C serves as a flow aid and anti-blocking agent for PET films. Degussa Alumina C also functions as a protective and bonding layer in fluorescent tubes, light bulbs, and powder coatings. Degussa Alumina C is also employed in coatings for high-quality inkjet printing paper, imparting high gloss and superior print quality. It enhances coating abrasion resistance; aids flow in powder coatings to improve powder application efficiency; serves as a thermal and radiation shield in coil coatings; and improves powder chargeability. Recommended dosage relative to total formulation: 0.05-0.5%.
